The Numbers
- 2013: Ohis and Anwinli Ojeikere married, five years after meeting in their church drama group (media-reported)
- 1.03 million: Approximate YouTube subscribers on The Winlos channel, October 2026 (third-party tracker estimate, Social Blade)
- 114.99 million: Cumulative channel views recorded by Social Blade on 18 October 2026 (third-party tracker estimate)
- 1 million: Views for Prophet Suddenly 3 within 48 hours of its 18 May 2025 premiere, reported by Vanguard Allure as a record for a Christian film (media-reported)
One of The Winlos’ first widely shared pieces was a short skit, God Told Me to Marry You. Press profiles report that it drew millions of views and was translated into French, Hindi and other languages. Years later, on 18 May 2025, their feature film Prophet Suddenly 3 premiered on YouTube and reportedly reached a million views in 48 hours. The story shows how two church drama volunteers turned short comedy into a film franchise that is free to watch.

Who Is Creating Impact?
Ohis and Anwinli Ojeikere, known together as The Winlos, met in 2008 in Asaba, Delta State, while acting and writing in their church’s drama group. They married in 2013. Ohis writes and directs the films, and Anwinli acts in them and works as a faith-based relationship counsellor.
They are lead pastors of The Votage, a church described as an expression of The Winlos Ministry. Anwinli also convenes REFRESH, an interdenominational prayer meeting held on the last Saturday of each month, according to her YouTube channel.
What Are They Building?
The Winlos’ work runs across screen, stage, print and church life:
- Films: Prophet Suddenly was released on YouTube on 28 May 2023. Prophet Suddenly 3: The Music Minister premiered on 18 May 2025. Prophet Suddenly 4: The Children’s Ministry, written and directed by Ohis with Elder Steve Iruedo as executive producer, was shot in Tanzania, the United States and Nigeria and premiered on 2 August 2026. The Sun reported a cinema premiere, and the full film was uploaded to YouTube the same day. The Spirituals series followed, with part one on 17 August 2025 and part two on 19 October 2025. Third-party analytics estimates put Spirituals 1 above 3.6 million views and Prophet Suddenly 4 above 3.1 million.
- Live events: The Winlos Show, held every February, combines comedy, stage play and music. The MRC Experience (My Relationship Conference) is an annual campus tour, and Ask the Winlos is an interactive series for questions and discussion.
- Books: His Ex, Her Ex and Blind Date, described in press coverage as best-selling. Faith on Motion found no verified sales figures.
- Church and training: The Votage, which they lead as pastors, and the Winlos Film Academy, which presents its mission as equipping emerging filmmakers with production skills and faith-centred storytelling. Faith on Motion has seen no student numbers or outcomes.
- Recognition: Twelve Forty Five was selected and screened at the International Christian Film and Music Festival in Orlando in 2021, and they were nominated for YNaija.com’s 2021 list of influential church figures. Both are recognition, not independent evaluation, and neither is a festival win.
Subscriber and view figures are third-party tracker estimates and change daily. They do not show unique viewers, how many watched a whole film, or repeat viewing.
Why It Matters
The Winlos release their feature films free on an open platform, so viewers do not need a cinema ticket, although access still depends on internet connectivity and data affordability. That model has let a couple who began with church skits reach audiences far beyond their congregation, at least as measured in views. Vanguard Allure reported the 48-hour milestone for Prophet Suddenly 3 as a record for a Christian film, a claim that rests on that outlet’s reporting.
Evidence on influence is thinner. Views show reach, not what people did afterwards. A BusinessDay profile in May 2025 carries the filmmakers’ own accounts of testimonies, and their channel promotes viewer testimonies about Spirituals. These are ministry-reported. Faith on Motion found no independent audience-impact study, which is a limit of the available evidence, not proof that no impact has occurred. This profile examines the institutional record, not doctrine.
What the Record Teaches
1. Let the format follow the audience. The Winlos moved from skits to stage shows to feature films released on YouTube, where their audience already was.
2. Build a franchise people can follow. Numbered instalments such as Prophet Suddenly and Spirituals, released on announced dates, give viewers a reason to return.
3. Pair content with gatherings. A February live show, an annual campus tour, books and a church give the screen work places to continue offline.
4. Divide the roles. Ohis writes and directs, Anwinli acts and counsels, and both pastor, so the ministry does not rest on one skill set.
5. Measure outcomes, not only attention. Views and subscribers show reach. Stronger measures would include audience research, documented programme participation and independently assessed outcomes.
The Measurable Impact
| Indicator | Reported figure or milestone |
|---|---|
| Founding | Met in a church drama group in Asaba, 2008; married 2013 (media-reported) |
| Output | Prophet Suddenly (2023) to Prophet Suddenly 4 (2 August 2026); Spirituals parts 1 and 2 (2025); Twelve Forty Five (2021); two books |
| Audience | About 1.03 million subscribers; 114,994,072 cumulative views on 18 October 2026 (Social Blade estimates); Spirituals 1 above 3.6 million and Prophet Suddenly 4 above 3.1 million views (tracker estimates); Prophet Suddenly 3 reported at 1 million views in 48 hours (Vanguard Allure) |
| Institutional assets | The Votage church; Winlos Film Academy (own description); The Winlos Show (February); The MRC Experience; Ask the Winlos |
| Independent benchmarks | Festival selection and screening, Orlando 2021; YNaija.com nomination 2021. No independent audit of views, subscribers, sales or audience outcomes |
Method note: Subscriber and view counts are third-party tracker estimates (Social Blade, 18 October 2026) and change over time. The 48-hour milestone is a historical claim reported by Vanguard Allure. Biographical details, festival selection and the YNaija nomination come from press profiles and the ministry’s own descriptions. None is an independently audited measure of membership or social impact.
The Bigger Lesson: Media as Ministry
The Winlos’ record shows how a ministry can grow from short church skits into a franchise by following its audience onto an open platform and tying the screen work to live events and a church.
At Faith on Motion, we believe Kingdom impact deserves to be documented with both conviction and evidence. The goal is not merely to record how far a leader has travelled, but to understand what has been built, whom it serves and what future generations can learn from it.
